Ignoring the fact that you’re forced to play a certain talent, my biggest issue is that since it activates at the beginning of the cast, your time to cast into it with void blast is literally cut in half. It feels so bad. You void torrent and press a couple of void blasts and it’s gone without feeling impactful at all.
PS. The explosion at the end needs some sort of animation. I can’t tell it’s doing anything half the time.
idk in a pve setting But in a PVP setting it does feel bad.
Entropic rift was changed for timer to really start at the end of Void torrent cast – ether full cast or interrupted.
But that doesn’t change Environmental scenarios.
CCed, silenced, interrupted, forced to move, LOS, or w.e else that might prevent you from doing something.
All of this messes with the timer and you are forced to endure the loss.
In a PVP setting, it happens a lot and its annoying. It brings back memories of BFA and I’m over it already.
Archon is also pathetic, so I lost hope in this class for TWW. I’m considering other options for once.
Making it start at the end would basically kill it in pvp. Testing it in beta yesterday and it was still starting as soon as you start the channel, giving you time to get two casts off, unless you have procs.
It doesn’t feel bad at all. Other hero talents force you to pick up specific talents as well. I love that they made void torrent castable while moving.
Whether or not the rift starts at the end of the beginning doesn’t really matter. They adjust the duration to compensate. Its actually better to have it start at the beginning because it gives you more control.
The void blasts are extremely impactful. Its literally hitting for 2-3million damage per cast.
I meant the timer. The rift is out on initial cast of void torrent but timer doesnt really decay unt cast ends or it gets canceled someway
The real issue is the bfa style build up that doesnt work well in pvp

Entropic rift starts athe the cast but doesnt count the timer until the void torrent cast ends, but the thing that really bothers me is the fact of where void torrent is on the talent page, i dont realy care if it has to be a mandatory skill, but if i has to be so move it to a place that we can have more options. I play priest since is started playing wow back in 2007, and every expansion since pandaria you have to stick to the meta talents, cuz if you move a point out of it, it will lower your dps. Don’t know if blizzard hates SP or what, but i would realy like an expasion that my class could be a little more dumb, like hunter for example. Leveled up my hunter in Pandaria Remix, and its the most easy class i ever player in my life, doesn’t require 10 neurons to play that, and its always on meta, always on top dps. I think blizz keep SP alive as an obligation, only to not lose the SP playerbase, cuz they literaly took 10 years to make a visual upgrade that looks realy good. PLEASE BLIZZARD MOVE VOID TORRENT TALENT UP!
True, and make shadow crash apply VT baseline and give us a new talent while your at it.
