They were a thing literally up to the day prior to the test, I was sitting in those queues helping my druid friend get his best wrist or belt piece or something because feral gearing is scuffed for pve.
Itâs a shame that the enemy Horde teams with 3 r14 shamans one shotting everyone on my team all of classic werenât able to enjoy the game.
So a class balance issue is equal to a queue issue?
You horde players created this problem anyways you kind of deserve the long queues tbh. the solution is simple but you morons cried until blizzard put in HvH BG. An autistic solution for autistic players.
You said they werenât able to enjoy the game. Playing enough to get to r14 =/= enjoyment and playable?
The q time is long because the overall number of horde players in your entire battlegroup made of PvE and PvP servers is far higher than the number of alliance.
What type of server you are on has no bearing on your q length. There are simply not enough blues so you have to wait your turn in line to play against them.
âcreated this problemâ â by playing the game? What in the actual f is going on here I feel like Iâm taking crazy pills
So itâs an alliance problem. Got it.
on a PVE server I have no alternative, if there are no flagged alliance to grind honor outside of BGâs, so no this is not the case. I understand how PVP and PVE servers work - my point is that if you say that âthe game works this way, deal with itâ then the same can be said for all complaints.
Yes.
Altering game mechanics is exactly the same as giving Alliance trash loot you can get off an Ogre in Nagrand.
You arenât kidding⌠every time I BG on my Alliance I remember what about Alliance sucks.
Oddly enough the grass is not much greener on horde.
Alliance has a few problems.
- Quitters
- Bad healers or a complete lack of them; this is something Alliance need to take lessons from the horde on
- AFK guy.
Horde has a few problems.
- Bad DPS, not even kidding the horde should take lessons from the Alliance here, Horde DPS just suck without a healer to prop them up. (On average)
- Rage Orc guy; we all know this tool will be in the BG raging about everything he sees as not goin his way and rages when some UD rogue calls him out because Rage orc makes up for the fact that he really sucks bad by raging on the BG chat enough that people donât want to play. ITS ALWAYS AN ORC.
- Literally the worst hunters and locks, these jerks break every sheep, sap, blind, gouge or any form of CC that can be broken. I have lost more games due to these fools than any other cause.
So we created a problem by playing the faction we wanted to play? Or are you insinuating that the entire horde playerbase is just min maxers who only want to achieve the highest possible number and thus we influxâd the Horde population so thatâs our problem?
Nice reach, and nice cope.
Honestly the real problem is Alliance. The victim mentality of âHorde are better, so I wonât pvp wahhhâ leads to Alliance not pvping as much, so now theres tons of Horde with no Alliance to fight.
So us wanting to play the game, and Alliance being big mad about racials is in the end, our fault.
Cope.
And when the red cafe opens up more tables, the people at the blue cafe complain because the red cafe customers donât have to wait as long.
The ONLY reason to eat at the blue cafe was the short line. Crappy food, nothing good, everyone knows red is better.
Cry more.
As far as I can tell, a lot of these forum alliance players only picked alliance for fast bg times, which does confuse me lol. If thatâs the case, theyâre doing exactly what theyâre accusing the horde of. Itâs still min/maxing, but of the stupid kind.
You understand how R14 worked right? It was have the highest honor for the week to be promoted, and over time that would get you to R14. WSG and AB were tolerable queues at 20-40 minutes, but 2 hour AV queues were horrible.
Times have changed with TBC. Now itâs mark based, and we need to get marks of Honor. Getting 3 WSG marks for 1 win after a 15 minute BG and a 45 minute queue, versus 4 15 minute losses resulting in 4 marks for Alliance is rough.
In itâs previous state, Alliance geared faster by having a substantial amount more of battlegrounds. Horde waiting a minimum of 45 minutes to âMaybeâ win, is an absurd amount of time to wait for a segment of the game.
This problem of queues and having almost no ability to play the game at all, does not equate to you being 1 shot by bad classic class balance from a shaman.
Plus, if youâre on that hunter, how is the Shaman even getting close to you? That one seems like your fault.
Picking for faster queues is fine, but being made that the Horde is finally able to spend more times in bgs and less in queue is absurd.
I even agree with incentivizing for Alliance as compensation since they feel like they âlostâ something, despite losing nothing and only coming up with far stretched arguments to how theyâll lose their pvpers. If there are pvpers to lose, then why arenât they in queue? If they were, we wouldnât have the queue problem to being with.
Iâm just stating the reality not crying but if you have to believe that to feel better go right ahead.
In this situation, the red cafe is being granted special permission to exceed their building capacity while the blue cafe is not, and then trying to compensate them with free breath mints that no one wants.
This is not good for a balanced economy.
Sure, but alliance players really canât blame horde for min/maxing when theyâre choosing alliance for faster bg gearing lol.
And I agree with you. You should get into bgâs just as quickly as everyone else. People seem to think that this faction rivalry should be part of regular life.
For those that are upset about the contents of the box, you should think about this:
As much as they are calling this a âtestâ, this is really a negotiation. They are trying to find out what will it take for you to do BGs. Like any negotiation, they want to keep the cost (to the game) as low as possible. With that in mind, you should act accordingly. If that is not enough of an incentiveâŚdonât do it. If they donât get the participation they are going for, they will come back to the negotiating table or offer a different solution altogether.
I hate that line. It assumes that people choose Horde specifically for the racials, and negates any friendships or, maybe hard to believe, but just outright player choice based on aesthetic and coolness. I didnât choose Undead for will, I chose Undead because I donât want a buff pickle or a skinny pickle as my character.
In the end weâre all trying to play the game, and bgs are just a means to lower tier gear to better position oneâs self for arenas, which, are also Alliance versus Alliance, and Horde versus Horde. Crazy how that works.
