Entitlement in this game is mind blowing

It exists on the forums, and has an alliance avatar

To be fair, I’d like to see other discussions, so I agree with the premise of this thread.

The devs clearly demonstrated what they determine the ‘value’ to be of the ‘perceived imbalance’ as they themselves called it. That should send a message. The alliance sensationalize every single inequity while ignoring or justifying their abuse of mechanics and demanding recompense, blackmailing blizzard with quitting the game or rerolling. I have no doubt that the age of your typical alliance player sways much younger than that of horde and it shows.

So are you selectively ignoring the literally hundreds of threads by horde players threatening to quit and crying like children for blizzard to “fix” their own choice of faction.

It is purely idiotic to overlook horde players incessant whining for months and then try to claim they are the “adult” faction. :joy:

Are you saying that ‘give me free stuff or we’ll quit’ isn’t blackmail?

Are you suggesting that people ‘crying’ over 1-2 hour queues (who are unable to play the game they paid for) is equal to the alliance saying ‘give me free stuff so I will play the game I paid for’?

You’re completely out of your mind.

You can play the game just fine though. I don’t know why every Horde idiot claims they can’t play the game because they have to wait in line for a single side-minigame. Do you have to stand next to the NPC when you queue? You can’t go farm in the world, go world PvP, play the AH, or do literally anything else but stand AFK next to the NPC?

This is a canard. They can play the game; they have multiple options: transfer, new toon (you know, maybe boosted?), switch factions.

They simply don’t like those options. But it’s incorrect to say they can’t play the game.

This discussion would be more constructive without the hyperbole.

Horde dont care, some alliance players complaining.

I don’t believe you’ve paid attention to the conversation for the last few months. Horde were driven to the outside world to gank alliance during this queue time, leading to alliance super QQing and abandoning servers to join alliance-only ones.

I think it would be great if your BG queue could be active while on bank toons playing the AH, or on your alt grinding quests, but in reality that’s not the case.

So in essence if you’ve completed all your quests, don’t have a gathering profession and are grinding honor - no… you can’t play the game.

Horde are the majority faction and on average have more of the better players. They win more games. Some of the Alliance decided to take their ball and go home because they got tired of being a punching bag game after game. All the good kids stacked one team and get upset when nobody wants to play them anymore.
And the incentive for Alliance to queue BGs more is pocket change and literal scraps. A bag that contains leather SCRAPS. It’s a slap in the face.

It’s what blizzard have calculated as the actual value of the ‘perceived imbalance.’ You should think about that for a minute - they probably used actual math to calculate it.

That’s not why Alliance servers were getting abandoned, people were transferring off because servers went from 60H-40A in Classic to 80H-20A in TBCC, which makes recruiting people for raids/dungeons/etc insanely difficult. The only choice is to transfer to a server with higher Alliance population so you can actually recruit.

That may also be a factor but the reality is that there were countless threads about world pvp because bored horde players were swarming leveling zones killing alliance. It’s not a myth.

If you cannot see the idiocy of this statement alone you really should stop posting.

I’d love for you to provide at minimum 5 sentences of how that statement is idiotic with details, otherwise thank you for conceding the argument.

I’d love for them to actually show the math then. Reminds me of how they calculated the “near 50/50 open world deaths” they claimed during their one week test. I’d love for them to have to do what we did in grade school and actually show their work instead of just giving an answer and circling it. Because I don’t believe it.
I go kill mobs anywhere in Outland and walk away with more gold in 20 minutes than you get out of a bag that only comes from a winning BG.

Alliance Players: “You have to pay us to play the game or there is LITERALLY no reason to play Alliance!”

I think the message of what’s in the box is “stop complaining, this is what we think of the complaints.”

Not trying to be rude, it’s just the way I look at this ‘solution’ from the outside. They could have done more but chose not to, and you have to consider why.

Yes, you’re correct. There is no reason to play Alliance. Are you supposed to be arguing something?

If you read any of them the majority of them where horde saying were are going to gank until we get what we want. And alliance saying, lol you are threatening us with squirt guns when we are already in the pool.
