Entire zones dead

Can we PLEASE increase layers? This is just stupid…

Cool. We will get right on that.

Umm, do you mean that all the mobs in entire zones are dead from so many people, or do you mean there are no players?

Is this irony or (sorry, I’m unable to tell what you’re trying to say)?

There isn’t a single quest mob alive in westfall… Not 1

You had your chance to quest, it’s now the bots turn.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to increase layers, negatively effecting real players, in order to deal with bots that are now taking more interest in leveling phase 2 because of the exp increase.

Well we know they won’t do anything about bots…

Oh okay, got’cha. So like there’s tons of people leveling right now?! I guess that makes sense.

I’ve just got 1 last alt to level, and that’s in its 30s, so most of the zones I’ve gone to are pretty empty. I think people in this level range are mostly dungeon spamming, or not running through feralas to get to the alchemy trainer at Feathermoon Stronghold, though there are surprisingly quite a few people a the Thalanar flight Master in Thousand Needles for a weekday morning!

Ya’ll don’t know what dead is if you hadn’t played in Classic Era when TBC Started! 5 players online at a time, empty capital cities… Spooky. I got my rogue to 60 in the end. But, it felt sad… No one to dungeon with, no way to raid, nowhere else to go. I mean, now on the bigger servers plenty people play, but it was a harrowing experience. a Lonely one. Though I play solo usually, it feels different when the MMO… Is… Empty.

The only fix for layers is removal.

This is the tax you pay for being on a mega server.

I’m on crusader strike and I’ve found myself on layer 9 several times.

If you’re not happy, then reroll on a lower population realm. You’ll be okay.

Come to chaos bolt we actually have mobs you can kill

Layer 9? Sounds like a dead server.

lol yeah not giving up the lone wolf population

That’s where I started on Alliance. Had a blast through ph1, but then opted to switch over and reroll to crusader strike to Horde.

Chaos bolt is a lot slower paced and has a great community. I just needed something with more groups as I have limited time to play.

Then you get to pay the tax of being on a large pop server. :man_shrugging:t2:

Seems like a personal problem and this thread is kind of pointless.

ok fair enough

There’s your problem.

Stop questing in Westfall and get yourself to Darkshore. Better and easier questing and less packed with all the Humans who naturally migrate to Westfall from Elwynn.

I’m with Gray. Darkshore will still have a lot of ppl no doubt, but way way less than Westfall or Loch Modan.

They probably decreased the number of layers, or messed with the ratio of players per layer.

Yesterday at 2am thousand needles had a lot of people questing and orgrimmar looked like downtown at rush hour.

The layers are dynamic blizzard isnt doing anything

Less people means less layers

The only thing they could possibly change is the threshhold of how many people a layer can contain before new ones are added
