Will the war within have enough development time to launch within this calendar year?
Not sure what the question refers to, it is releasing this year.
We’re the players. How would we know?
It’s not just launching this calendar year, it’s launching in Fall. This isn’t a December launch; all indications are that it might be a September launch.
Is it going to be ready in September? Iunno. Alpha just started less than two weeks ago.
Nah, this will be the pattern going forward. The real game testing will begin when TWW goes live.
DF has had ups and downs.
But you can’t deny that DF has had a frequent abundance of content being fed down the pipeline in 3-4 month batches.
I think people expect them to have the expansion done for launch. All they need is stable content with enough meat on its bones to keep people happy for a couple months, to give them enough time to work on 11.0.5
Delves are already in test with 3 of them playable.
M+ and Raids is the same formula at this point.
Quests and world content is somewhat formula driven at this point. There’s a central event NPC who hands out tasks to people in the area.
Hero Talents are a time consuming concept but with how lackluster DF class tuning has been this past year, the class team better have been working on Hero Talents instead.
So honestly what is supposed to take 2 years+ to develop for the expansion launch?
We’re just going to repeat the talking points that were directed at Dragonflight two years ago this year for The War Within, huh?
It’s already in testing, are you seeing lots of bugs?
The same talking points since WotLK honestly.
It is all clockwork. Almost accurate enough to set daily alarms to.
Yeah it’ll be feature complete for the base part of the expansion before the end of next month probably minus the raid at least and maybe some story. Or basically complete enough to start the beta probably by early June.
