This has gone far enough blizzard please, go play a healer and tell me who in thier right mind thought it was a good idea to change api’s the first week m+ comes out? DO YOU EVEN PLAY YOUR OWN GAME? YOU EVEN STATED AT BEGINNING THAT the api’s would not be ready for launch then we just change them the first week m+ comes out, if i didnt buy a year sub i would cancel and ask for a refund its that bad. im considereing dropping all my healers. and never touching this game again its gone far enough. YOU ARE LAUNCHING SOMETHING THAT ISNT READY FIX IT. we cant see dispells. why make these changes then buff every single thing you need to dispell its actually insane.
”Blizzard has confirmed that the full API support for specialized healer frames will not be ready for the initial launch of World of Warcraft: Midnight, leading to temporary limitations on third-party addons like Grid2, Cell, and WeakAuras.
Key Details Regarding the “Midnight” Launch API
Addon Restrictions: Due to changes in the Addon API, many healer addons will lose the ability to access internal combat data required for advanced filtering of buffs and debuffs.
Limited “Secret” Auras: To mitigate the impact on healers, Blizzard is flagging a number of short-cooldown rotational spells and long-duration buffs to be excluded from their “Secret Value” system, allowing some visibility.”
like here me out you want to make the game better by not letting us see anything on the back end. how do we play the game when we cant see what needs to be dispelled? at this rate just take the interrupt nerf and remove dispelling from ever healer in the game. maybe that will fix your game. BIG BRAIN COMPANY.
Click on Party Frames box to bring up the options and check the ‘Use Raid-Style Party Frames’
Close edit mode, then open the options menu and click on the interface sub-menu under ‘Gameplay’.
Scroll down to the Raid Frames section. Now that you’ve turned your party frames into raid frames, these options will now work for your party frames.
Make sure the boxes ‘Show Debuffs’ and ‘Display Only Dispellable Debuffs’ are checked. Additionally, just below that you will see an option called ‘Dispellable Debuff Indicator’. Make sure that is set to ‘Dispellable by Me’.
And that’s it. Job done. From this point forward when you’re in a party doing M+ content and a magic effect that you can dispel is put on your team, you will now see the raid frame indicate that you can dispel the effect. Beyond that it’s just a matter of knowing the fights.
I would not consider clicking a few boxes in the settings to be ‘extra work’ when it takes a grand total of 30 seconds. Most people will spend hours tweaking their UIs to do and show precisely what they want.
I dont get this and didnt during the beta either. Hidden value raid debuffs was a bad idea and blizz walked it back. Base ui raid frames are perfectly fine for raid and dungeon healing. Ive been using them since DF and they r even better now.
I am in no way calling them perfect but people acting like the sky is falling is over the top. Blizz has alot of iteration on their UI to do and this entire enterprise likely wasnt worth it but anyone who says the game is unplayable without addons is hyperbolic at best, assuming no disabilities
