Dream flight is buffed (No one uses that and no one will use it still.
Time stop still will be useless, no one will run Chrono loop still and Azure strike will still be not even remotely viable to utilize.
I think these changes honestly just solidify that Blizzard doesn’t play their own game.
Here is what blizzard should do -
Go to Drustvar, filter by 2v2 and ask themselves WHY it is that there are 16 full pages of resto druids before you get to 1600 rating and then they should ask themselves WHY it is that there is literally a half a page before you get to the first 1600 Pres evoker.
Evoker
Azure Strike damage increased by 40% in PvP combat.
Time Stop (PvP talent) cooldown reduced to 45 seconds (was 1 minute).
Dream Flight healing increased by 100% in PvP combat.
Mana regeneration now reduced by 5% in PvP Combat (was 10%).
All healing spells are increased by 4%
Sleep is a baseline talent now
Dream breath now reduces all physical damage taken by 7%
New Talent “Fire entanglement” - Fire breath now has a 7% chance to root its target. (only applicable in pvp)
Dream Projection is reworked. It’s now a 1.5 second cast every 45 seconds. A mirror of the evoker runs forward 30 yards, Appling the hot. (You no longer for some reason become the dragon and then run forward, the mirror of you does that part)
I was really hoping for some PvE Devastation buffs. I feel like such a drag on the group in AoE damage, doing far less than a DH with lower ilv gear. And the change to mastery is definitely a huge nerf to class performance, despite the buffs that came with it. Even on single-target boss fights I’m struggling to make my damage meaningful.
I can’t believe they buffed priest healing by 6% and didn’t touch preservation lol. It’s so shocking and confusing. What is this company doing lol? Do they not look at the brackets?
I have never seen anyone play that. I watched Cdew test it today, he said that it’s awful and he also said that Pres is going to remain bad until much largers changes are made.
I die laughing every time I see an evoker nerf in pvp.
It shows the “balance team” has 0 clue as to what is happening in their game. Nerfing the worse pvp range spec it’s so tone deaf and shows the “we are closely monitoring the blah blah blah” as utter bull crap.
Moving 10% out of upheaval for 15% into eruption seems like its meant to nerf burst while buffing sustain, which is the same change they made to dh. Not sure what you’re whining about now.
