I was in a PUG grp when Staff finally dropped, to make it weirder the RL decided to give loot at end (ok sure w/e) we get to final Boss before we start he says “brb going to let my dog pee” he was friends with 2 others in his guild so they said cool, 2 mins go by and 1 of them accidentally leaks a whisper " yo the mage is cool though u sure?" we all go ???

the RL goes ok back, roll on loot, everyone got some loot except the staff , talwar, and fathomblade.

u can guess what happens next

he gives his buddy the gear they want , then he the feral MS druid Ninjas the staff and leaves the raid.

respectfully F this game and my 1-month grind on 4 toons , if this is norm/future of PUG I rather eat shet and rest in piss playing Final Fantasy Online or Runescape

If loot rules were spelled out in chat before hand as MS>OS report him to Blizzard. You won’t get the item, but he will get the item taken away from him.

Might not be enough for you o change your mind about leaving but think of it as sweet revenge.

Oh boy have fun trying to RMT there FFXIV is always actively banning people for RMT same with Runescape.

And this, Blizzard will do this. If loot rules were discussed in Discord or Voice chat you are SoL.

Sometimes I wonder if Blizzard enjoys watching the popcorn drama and designed classic loot the way it was… Warriors rolling on leather gear, Warriors/Rogues rolling on ranged weapons, Hunters rolling on melee weapons, ninja looting, etc.

At least u got to run bfd. I tried runbing bfd today and after spamming chats gor almost 1 hour only got 1 invite. Told the rl nicely im 0/7 exp. He tells me no carries.

After that went to try pug it again and nothing. Just thought to myself the mechanics are not insanely difficult and i have almost full pre bis and full consumes. Then thought hell gdkp would of been qay easier for me lol.

Ended up joining a guild and doing it tomorrow.

Imagine ninja looting a staff on the last day it will most likely be BIS. I wouldn’t quit over this, just make sure you spread the word with appropriate proof posted to the server disc.

pretty sure the staff will be bis until 40, so at least a couple days to a couple weeks depending on how fast the guy levels.

jUsT jOiN a gUiLd, not everyone have time for a guild and commit to a specific raid time. Get this in your head. We need a loot system that is similar to GDKP without promoting RMT.

just play with aussies, they aren’t self centred & the community as a whole is pretty good
you’d have to be unlucky to encounter an actual toxic person who’s going to ninja from you imo

Took OP 20 days to work up the drive to “quit” on their sock puppet.
