I can deal with queues. Gives me time to play other games or do something else until it pops.
And presuming either faction is any different in terms of requiring a zerg to be competitive is a pretty amusing notion.

its cross realm battlegrounds, there is 51% alliance 49% horde, so if any there would be queue on alliance side.

Alliance don’t have queues in retail and the result is you literally lose 9/10 games and waste time just getting to that elusive “one” victory.
Trust me, I raid/play Alliance in retail. It’s’ awful. Alliance are garbage at WPVP, they’re garbage at Battlegrounds. Pretty much all the top arena teams are Horde. Alliance only just 3 weeks ago achieved enough mythic EP clears to unlock cross-server (and the raid has been out since summer).

Nah. The queues will be longer for horde. Last data I saw for retail had Alliance population at 50.7% and Horde at 49.3%. The queues are much longer for Horde in retail than for Alliance, and that’s WITH mercenary mode allowing the queues to be sped up.
Mercenary mode will not be in Classic, ergo, the queue for horde will be longer than Alliance.

This is assuming 100% of players are queing and have equal interest in pvp. I doubt that to be the case if wpvp is any indication.

If so umm then no, we will not enjoy a queue lol. Maybe a small one if that. There are just as many alliance dominated realms as there are Horde dominated.
Across all realms the faction balance barely tips in Hordes favor. So if BG’s are crossrealm then it will be pretty even.
I could be wrong, like I said I didn’t give much attention to any details that have been released about BG’s so whatever. If I am wrong then Horde will just continue to gank lowbie alliance trying to level lol /shrug
You and the guy using retail numbers are both missing the point. When the BGS hit, that’s all you’ll have to do until BWL, most people have onny/mc’d themselves out already.

Its so funny, can’t people see what will happen:
Horde will have a 1hr + queue while some alliance who were doing world pvp will be in a BG.
What will all the horde players (who are 60) do while waiting for BG’s to pop? - you guessed it! They will be out farming honour as they were before the BG’s were bought in.
What will this result in?
less alliance to fight back and an even worse situation for those who were trying to quest etc.
