Enjoy going against people who farm heroic prior to doing arena. Decked out with heroic level 213 PVE gear (some with main stat vers). While PvP gear is only 194. Especially those who first run the raid then fill with conquest gear.
Bring back PvP gear being in PvP without being at a serious disadvantage if you don’t decide to do end tier PVE content compared to those who do.
Bring back Arena being more focused on skill versus gear.
Honestly just bring back wod’s system of scaling up in pvp but weaker in pve, everyone wins that way

The ilvl difference won’t carry PvE players if you know what you’re doing. It’s not that big of a gap that you can’t overcome. You make it sound like they’re gonna be overall 213 ilvl, unlike PvP which can be fully 194. Congrats on the few pieces that drop for Raiders.
Last I checked there isn’t a ton of haste/vers gear from the raid anyway, which is the main target for most specs. I also want a reason to be hardstuck 1500 the first week, but this ain’t it chief. Make plays, not excuses.
Wonder how many people will actually get lucky and fill every single slot with normal/heroic raid gear , then also want to go do arena 
For PVE: PVP gear helps fill bad luck streak , while pve gear is rng
For PVP: PVE gear has more stat combination compared to pvp gear vendor , while pvp gear is 100% bought with currency.
Current system is fine , if 5-10ilvl makes you lose games … idk what to say >.<
if you look at the loot tables if they are pve geared they will have little to no vers. for warrior there are i think 2-3 haste vers pieces from dungeons and 2-3 from raid and they are weighted more for haste. a player in full pve gear will maybe have you beat by 10-13 ilvl but will have like 6% and will explode
