At the 8 o’clock pillar: when I have already completed 3, I get nothing on the 4th.
I can’t click on begin or submit anymore.
I only get the message < The contraption appears inert. All mechanisms are unlocked >.
I went out and back in…the machine is still saying the same thing and the platforms aren’t lit up anymore.
I had the same thing happen tonight but when I checked, the 8th orb was lit. I went to the 9th orb and got the Mount!! Good luck

Can confirm as well. Did 3, couldn’t access the 4th. But as Mithras said, 8th orb was active and was able to proceed to 9th and get the bike.
Edit: Apparently it was hotfixed to require only 3 now.

Wowhead’s guide mentions that only 3 locks are required and is pretty reliable on this now, so if you have friends that end up doing it, it’s safe to point them to it.
I should mention that on orb 9 I had to input the code several times till it accepted it.
I can confirm that they hotfixed the mechanism machine to only 3. So once you are done with 3 submits of counting rats you can then go to Azj-Kahet, jump in the mushroom, use your starry eyed goggles, click on the crystal above in the air on the platform, use your relic of crystal connection, click on the machine, input the code, loot the chest, and ride off into the sunset on your well earned awesome INCOGNITRO CYCLE!!! Those damn hotfixes get ya everytime. Happy Gaming!!
