Are they optimal in BWL and after? I know right now its a joke to play them but will they actually be a good choice later on?

Ret and Enh are both somewhat viable in PvP, but have absolutely no place in raids

Me on my level 44 enhance shaman doing litterally 3 times as much DPS as everyone else and making up 44 percent of the total damage done according to recount : ‘‘Dang, guess it all changes at 60, why do you lie to me blizzard?’’.
You can do that on any 30sec fight at 60 as well. Bosses last longer than your mana bar.

Don’t worry. Once you hit mid 40’s and into your 50’s doing Mara/ST and into BRD - you’ll start running into mobs with nature resist/high armor and you’ll slowly start to fall off the top. The longer fights start to go you realize that windfury isn’t proccing as much as it feels it should. You’re running OOM by your 5-6th shock and the boss has a long way to go.

Anything is viable these days. Now, it obviously wont be top tier, but it is a game at the end of the day. So even though half these people are nothing but number crunchers and toxic min/maxers, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be allowed to use it. you play what you wish to play.
Personally, I play ele in PvP a lot, but do tank/enh in PvE.
Enhancement ok for leveling/BG’s on the way to 60? Not as concerned about LVL 60 PvP but on the way there.

Nope that being said a consistant enhance sham is better than a flakey mage attendance wise.
I out perform quite a few people in some fights and I’m in a solid guild, and I do it without losing too much personal dps.
PLainly false. Hance is viable.
Break the 700 dps mark on any fight this tier then tell me that.

Technically, they’re a wee bit less of a meme spec because their buffs are better than the other variants of the class.
