Is this spec just unplayable in arenas? I’ve looked at countless guides and none have proven to be of any help, most people say to just roll ele. Does anyone know how Enh can be viable in arenas?
You can play it, but youre gonna die a lot. Enh is really squishy, thats why you dont ever see it, but i have seen it tun in turbo with a mw with some success. I think thats about the only comp you can run it in though
Shaman have the damage, you can really blow people up with the spec with empowered stormstrikes or windstrikes. They just have no survivability which is why they are no good - I gave it everything I had for about a month and the highest I got was 1580 in 2s. I do think they could be good in 3s, but my buddy hates doing 3s.
I just went back to my BM hunter and realized once again, just how terrible shaman are when it comes to surviving. Anyway, it’s not just this season, it’s been the same thing for the last few expansions. For some reason, they just don’t want enh shaman to have any survivability.
Its just the shaman xpac cycle man.
enhance is a 15sec spec now
Beastcleave with a BM hunter can be decent. I’ve played it over 2550 this season.
The passive 10% damage reduction, roar of sacrifice and freedoms from the hunter pet help mitigate some of the inherent enh sham weaknesses.

both are warrior pov in their turbo vods but garbage’s alt turbo w/ pksuban qs at 2500 and rostam/flabby/vinkz are over 2700 as turbo atm
enhance damage can slap but enhance flops p easy
Only added value enh brings over other similar roles is huge dps, so get a tank trinket if youre lucky and pretend youre in a m+ with ride spec.
I like big vers while the other 2 glad enhances seem to go full haste. We all rock similar traits with windfury build. Flabby plays turbo, Ronnie plays bm beastcleave, I play destro lsd3. Ele is a much better spec for the range positioning and lasso setups currently but you can try and smorc with enh. Grounding for maledicts and purge spam are very valuable in this meta. Remember to spit on every dh/dk, our creed values your efforts.
