Overall I’m enjoying enhancement I mean i’ve mained it since day 1 but I’d like to suggest a minor change or talent option.
My suggestion is Let Crash Lightning convert lightning bolt into chain lightning. I like the gameplay with Tempest and I like how it converts Lightning bolt into Tempest. This change would remove an extra button from the action bars and also remove the need or use of a crash lightning weak aura. Id be happy with it as a talent / talent option or base kit change.

What if I want to use lightning bolt after crash?
Love the idea but i dont think that would get rid of chain lightning off the bar.
Crash lightning is a cooldown im pretty sure on trash mobs i use chain lighting like 4 times in between crash
No thank you. I like having both. When I’m farming mobs, if I’m about to kill the last 1, I’ll pool my msw for the next pack. I want to be able to fire off a chain lightning from ranged without having to be in range for a crash lightning. Same thing goes for pvp and disrupting flag caps from ranged.
I just want them to make it so tempest replaces both lightning bolt and chain lightning. That’s the only gripe I have, but I also understand why it can never be.
I think they just need to combine Lightning bolt and chain lightning into a single spell. Hits the first target for Lightning bolt damage and then if there are things to chain to it hits them for Chain lightning damage. The only downside is if you’re trying to pull a mob near others but don’t want to pull everything. But that’s pretty niche since we do have shocks to pull. Gets rid of one button and then we don’t have that weirdness while aoeing and casting chain lightning but switching back to Lightning bolt for Tempest or Primordial wave.
That’s why I suggested it as a talent option.
