You bring something to every encounter. Ghost wolf is phenomenal for getting out of mechanics and getting back to where you need to be for the fight.
They really just feel like a complete class. Heals, mobility, roots, stuns, rez, a fun gameplay loop. Really, out of all the classes I’ve played and put time into on WoW, I would have to say shaman is the only that’s ever made me think “WoW, I’m really having fun when I play this”.
I just really like the class (and more specifically, enhancement).
I’ve always enjoyed Shaman. Leveling it up in Shadowlands, I decided to try Enhancement out to please my minor OCD in balancing spec roles. Having never tried it before, I was blown away at how much fun it was! Never looked back at Ele or Resto after that.
For me it was the pace of the spec. Always a button lit up to hit made each hit feel impactful. And it sounds so good.
Pretty well the same experience. I had played resto and ele on and off throughout the years, but always avoided enhancement. I had always heard it was one of the more complicated specs, and that always put me off.
After finally giving it a shot recently, I’ve absolutely loved it.
I’m gathering a set for enhance right now. I’m excited to finally give it a try. I played resto in Pandaria, and came back shortly before this season. I’ve never played enhance before, so it’s reassuring to hear this from people
Just did one of my weekly delves as Enhance for the first time this season and maaaaannnnn it was great.
I like my druid and hunter too, but Enhance is the spec that keeps me coming back and subscribed. Coolest theme and gameplay loop imo.
Please specify the game type you are playing because when you say ENH has mobility, in PvP, it has one of the worst if not the worst mobility and suffers from it.
Because of its lack of mobility, you wont see it AWC currently.
It was amazing last patch but it was too fun so of course Blizz had to go and ruin it.
I’m struggling with it lately, I’ve been enhance since WotLK but every expansion Enhance gets harder and harder to perform optimally with. I looked at my sim and it says i should be doing 2.4mil DPS, and I dont get anywhere close to that. I am struggling to keep track of all the procs i have going, when to use what. It’s just a mess, and while it is fun, it’s not fun watching everyone else beat you in DPS because their rotation is just easier to do. If you push a wrong button at the wrong time for enhance your DPS is bricked and there’s nothing you can do about it. I have no idea what to do
I think the spec is very hard. To produce. Good parses. With.
This spec especially, and many other specs, are like math equations with math specific laws and rules that you have to follow or else your dage. Is terrible.
To many skills have precursors to to do damage.
Just make it so x skills. Does x damage. Irregardless of. Pressing y skill prior.
I loved enhance… so much until every major patch or expansion had more and more buttons to deal with… we def neeed some abilites combined… and please revert the change to light up the instant cast LB or CL when its ready… I am certain I am using it about 20% of time I should be.
Well new. Ui changes in 11.1.5 so hopefully they address the issue of your main, most important spender not lighting. Up.
Whoever came. Up with the idea to make sure your main spender doesn’t let you know when to use it should be released
Yep, still angry they took away the glow that let me know even without needing to see a counter, that my spenders are ready to be used. I’ve been avoiding Weakaura because I don’t want to find myself feeling like I need a bloody addon, that might not be working when I’m ready to play, just to play my favorite class/spec as well as I can.
Update! The new CD manager does nothing to help with knowing if your LB or CL is available to be instant cast… it really only seems to make the buttons that are already on your bars… also be somewhere else on your screen…
Or maybe I am just doing it wrong.
Seriously this crap is screwing me up so much its like they want us to completely rely on add-ons to play properly.
Just use WA for Shaman. Tracking Maelstrom is the only reason why I use it. Otherwise, it’s clunky to me in terms of occupying screen space and I don’t know how to trim it down. That’s how I function as Enhancement.
I swapped from elemental to enhance due to ele’s identity crisis going on and I’m really enjoying it. Using the stormbringer AOE build for most basic content I do as DPS and it does ST and AOE pretty well all in one. Have the other talents set up for more specialized stuff but this spec gets most of the play.
It’s very fun and not overly complicated.
