WoWhead’s PTR talents show the Tempest granted from Awakening Storms requiring 4 stacks (currently 3). I cannot find this change anywhere in the PTR notes. Can anyone verify this? If implemented this sucks bigtime and it not being mentioned is some low down dirty dealin. Awakening Storms is @5 PPM so this is a serious nerf going from 3 to 4 (averaging a free Tempest every 48 seconds instead of 36).
On 11.2 PTR it’s exactly the same as on live, nothing is changing here. Tempest for Enhancement activates every 4 awakening storms.
It was changed in patch 11.1 (25th FEB 2025, Undermine(d) update), you can easily check it in game client under patch notes section.
Ah thx! I suppose it makes sense given the additional trigger (stormstrike), I shoulda just checked the live tooltip
