Title. I’ve played through a lot of classes recently and now that I’m 30-ish I’m faced with the fact that I now need to check my stacks up the interface because the existing blue stack indicator stops at 5, but it actually goes up to 10 with the right perk? Am I missing something here or is it some weird, deeply impractical oversight?

As someone who hardcore glazes the current iteration of enh, I also wish they added something in for the non-WA folks so they could actually see how much MSW they are over 5.

Yeah it sucks. I have a WA for it. It broke with the latest patch but I got on the wa discord and they helped me fix it.

It only does it up to 5 but you want to spend around 8-10 stacks depending on.
It’d be neat if they made a separate one when you have the overflowing Maelstrom talent …
It is a bit of oversight …

Ah I see what you mean. The graphic doesn’t change after five stacks. Yeah I ignore that graphic. See below, though, since I was talking about something different.
If you go to Options → Combat, you can turn on your Personal Resource Display and it will show your stack count, as a number, right below your character while you are in combat.

Enhancement has been one of the most WA reliant specs for way too long, but as per most Shaman complaints it usually falls on deaf years.
The one I linked shows just that. The numbers between 0-7 are white, once you hit 8 stacks they turn red to let you know its serious business.

I mean I’ve just been using a WA since day 1 so I haven’t really looked at the stock UI. Have mine setup the same way but as green since 8+ stacks since it means happy fun time is about to occur.

The weak aura situation could be fixed by unlocking the buff window and letting people put these buff icons where they want and how big they are.

I added a sound queue to 8 stacks for my aura.
Or for the personal resource display. I don’t think that’s moveable.

I have to use a weakaura just to keep tracks of the stacks, unfortunately.
The Maelstrom Weapon visual indicator lightning bolt icon could have another color overlayed on top of the first 5 stacks as stacks are gained over 5 when using Overflowing Maelstrom talent.
They could also outline the Maelstrom Weapon icon with additional visual indicators to show tempest and awakening storms stacks when choosing Stormbringer.
Yeah I also have a WA that takes the default and makes stacks 6-10 upside down just above the default. As the stacks accumulate it forms a virtual “X”.
