Hey,
Just Dinged 60 and wanted the Shaman community take on spec’s in the upcoming 9.1. Are both spec’s currently doing well? or does one have the edge over the other? I enjoy both PVP and PVE - Range/Melee doesn’t matter to me as I enjoy both. I just don’t want to end up playing the spec that is much lesser of the 2. Thanks for your time 
I love enhance but its always been frustrating in pvp because they are so squishy that they are only really useful in 3v3 arenas and basically useless in rbgs because they just flop when focused. Elemental seems superior to enhance in all aspects of gameplay in my opinion. But take my word with a grain of salt, im a filthy casual, and i hate playing classes that suck in BGs because i enjoy random unrated pvp.

I believe ele is more represented in raids as well. Also it’s been quite a ranged dps friendly xpac so far. You could always learn both specs which I highly suggest anyways.

Enhancement is fun, but Elemental is both fun & preferred. I simply switch between the 2 when I get bored of the other. shrug
I like both specs but still prefer Enhance, especially in the open world because kiting sucks. I do fairly well in all content. It’s just a different playstyle. I prefer beating people with maces.

Why are you kiting mobs at max level with ele? Only thing I can’t tank are world bosses and the new rares.
Over 200 ilvl you should easily tank:
7-10 mobs easily every 1 min with SK/CL/EQ/cap totem
15+ with SE/PE and above every 2.5-3 min
Everything in aggro leash range every 5 min with EE.
Add EH or EotGS leggo and its just straight cheese mode
