If I buy an Enhanced level Boost for one character it is $60 BUT if I buy the 49.99 War Within pre purchase I get a level boost for 49.99. So even buying two pre purchase expansions is cheaper than the buy 2 Level Boosts for $100.
Can I add more than one expansion pre purchase to the same account? Does Blizz realize that it’s really silly to make the level boosts more expensive than the expansion?
Not sure if there’s anything stopping me form just pre purchasing the war within 4 times?
I am pretty certain that you can’t purchase a digital upgrade for an expansion if you already own it. The option becomes greyed out. The boost is there to make you make that rational decision to buy into the next expansion under the premise that you’d be paying that money anyways. Same thing with all the other goodies. It’s psychology to get you to buy the next expansion. Has been since they started selling all those other things as microtransactions.
I don’t think you can but the expansion multiple times to one account; and i think character boosts are one of the few things not shared account wide when you have multiple wow’s on the same bnet so you couldn’t buy the expansion for your main and then say buy it again applied to a wow1 or wow 2 account to use the boost back on your main one.
I currently am sitting on the wow boost for upgrading my wow1 account but it doesnt show up on my wow 2 anywhere to use.
