Enhance Shamans in PVP

Ive been playing my enhance shaman on ptr lately, and trying out some arenas. I love the new changes, but adding healing stream totem and chain heal doesnt make them more durable, in fact to me they seem less durable due to the anability to use Lightning Shield and Earth Shield at the same time. Something needs to be done about this survivability, I hate to see such a fun spec being so weak and fragile.

Not to mention going OOM with 3 heals, or 2 heals and 2 purge — hnnngh, mana regens way to slow for this type of playstyle.

Primal wisdom needs to come back, or Healing Surge/Chain heal need mana cost reductions.

Such utter frustration with the current dev team for survivability.

Extending Astral Shift duration DID NOTHING! We need to use it during a stun.

Even then though, since casts are % of mana, would a bigger pool help? The variance between mana cost for heals/purge and dps abilities is large, to the point that %20 mana I can’t heal, but can still do my dps rotation.

Yeah, this I don’t get. Lightning shield and earthshield should be allowed to be used at the same time like on live. The trade-off in functionality of giving up MSW stack generation by going earth shield right now really hurts the viability of the talent and feels like a survivability loss.

I also miss the graphics effect of having both shields rotating at their own paces like a mini solar system.

I like that abilities cost mana now. Feels like mana is a real resource. But they may have overdone the numbers.

I like it too, but the tuning feels too harsh. When we last had mana costs for spells, it was with primal wisdom, which allowed Enh to regenerate mana on melee attacks.

I’m all for spells costing a resource. I think the people asking for them not to cost one are foolish. It just feels too punishing in the current ptr patch for Enhancement, especially if using MW x 5 to heal ourselves is going to be our main defensive and the reason we don’t get a 2nd defensive cooldown alongside Astral Shift.

It baffles me that they’re still gating Nature’s Guardian behind a talent slot. That needs to be baseline.
