Note: for me at least. Was counting on SOMETHING good and/or interesting. And while the minor changes made are good, they wont make a difference in my and im sure others choice. The class still suffers from wanting uptime on their target and no way to make that happen outside of a 1min grappling hook ripoff and snares. Here is the problem: personal defensives which include root/snare removals/ignoring and things like blink/speed increases/hover ect have been increased to the highest level in the games history.
Even death knights got new options to speed up or away from their enemies. Windwalker monk is so different they might as well given them a button that says teleports you to your target with a 10 second cooldown with all their new movement shenanigans. In a world where melee classes NEED uptime on their targets to do their job, no class/spec is worse at it. And the tonedeaf changes that they are calling good enough cemented this in my and others minds.
