Enhance Shaman in TWW

FINALLY back, haven’t had a PC for gaming since 2022. Felt so good to sign back into WoW for the first time since then yesterday !!!

Being that i’ve been away for YEARS, can anyone tell me how is the current state of Enhancement Shaman? that was my main the last few years that I played. I’ll mainly play for Mythic+ with a casual group , and some BG’s & arenas if i can find new people to pvp with.

From what i’ve seen online so far after a few searches, everyone is giving enhance VERY low ratings and saying it’s in an awful spot atm. I wanted to ask players who are actually playing/trying the class right now, is that true ??

Should i stick w Enhance Shaman for TWW ? if not and it is as bad as they’re saying, what is your fav class and why recommend that i switch to it?? (I’m looking for perspective here, I’ll read all the replies and really take some time to consider what to do. Not trying to start a WHAT CLASS IS THE BEST war, just want to see what everyone likes and why so I can have some ideas for options.)

Not sure who is saying it’s bad. Enh was a meta spec last season and is still really good this season with both hero talents being usable but totemic is currently “the” M+ spec. The question just becomes if you like the playstyles or not. If you’re fine with priority ability whackamole as they come off cooldown/proc and a ton of keybinds then enh is right up your alley. If you want something a lot simpler then ret paladin. If you do stay with enh then the spec isn’t going to be putting your group at a disadvantage in M+/Raid.
