Anyone care to give me some pointers on the rotation for Enhance this xpac. I have been playing Ele for a long time i last enjoyed enhance i think was in BFA when we had boulderfist and i had some other legendary i think at the time that proc’d free storm strikes alot. I recently tried Enhance again but it feels clunky im not sure what my rotation should be. Just seems like sometimes i waiting for storm strike to come off cd losing dps. What should my rotation be in DF to play enhance well?
This is all very build dependant this will be for the elementalist build. If dark iron or troll racial, then lust if group lead asks, trinket then flame shock/pwave, feral spirit lava lash lightning bolt sundering crash ice strike frost shock lava lash storm strike.
Then from there the off cd rotation priority is eleblast over 7 maelstrom and if you have stacks, lightning bolt if your spirits are are both storm or out of ele stacks. then we are prioritizing ice strike into frost shock then lava lash procs as much as possible as it’s your bread and butter on hot hands. sometimes to reset the cd tap a storm strike or frost shock or flame shock and contine tapping lava lash. If not on hot hands and lava is on c/d focus on stormlash procs then frost shock then flame shocks as priority while all this is going on make sure you are keeping crash lighting buff applied every 10 seconds or so.
Lastly just tap your main cds when they come off don’t hold them and make sure you are tab targeting periodically with ashen catalysts to make your flame shocks ticks really beefy. I just use action targeting here cause I got used to it.
If your having issues use hekelli addon for a couple pulls on a dummy then hide your action bar and eventually turn off the addon. Having situational awareness and playing the mechanics is more important a lot of time then aggroing your healer ever 5 seconds cause you want to top charts.

Enhance is cooldown priority whack-a-mole, nothing lines up really well so you just use whatever is coming off cooldown keeping in mind priorities. Depending how you talent spec will determine what your priorities are. Flame shock first, if you go towards windfury/storm strike then you want to spam storm strike, then fill with Sundering, lava lash, Ice Strike(before frost shock), frost shock and use up maelstrom stacks IMMEDIATELY when they hit 5/10 on ele blast/lightning/chain lightning. If you go elemental/lava lash then you just swap lava lash and storm strike. If you get ascendance(DRE) then spam wind strike on cooldown and if you go elemental and get hot hand spam lava lash on every target. If you take primordial wave then use that with your maelstrom stacks after you spread flame shock.
Keep in mind the majority of Enh damage comes from Elemental Blast, flame shock, wind strike, sundering, and lightning bolt. Storm strike is used really to get more maelstrom stacks, if you go lava lash then it empowers your flame shock dot. This means that to max out DPS you want to use up max stacks of maelstrom without overcapping/losing them. With elemental spec you want to make sure you spread your flame shock and get lava lash on as many targets as possible.

Thanks guys for the input guess i wont be playing enhance i dont like the majority of my damage coming from ele blast.
here is mine, it is a little out dated, i did it for lava lash cleave and elemental blasts on maelstrom stacks for 2s and rbgs, but it is slightly outdated.

your cleave is hit FLame Shock, then Lava lash to spread, then Fire Nova to detonate.
In a m+, ele blast is my 4th highest. About 10% of my damage.
