Enhance or fury

All, what’s the call here. I started after having been away for 8 years with a fury warrior and was having a blast. Shadowlands was coming up and read about how horrible fury was going to be…, Started healing on my shaman and had fun. Went enhance for awhile and realized it was fun, but thought I liked it because it was similar to a fury warrior…

Thinking of maining my warrior now. Yes, I can never decide on a class, but man… I really like fury. If there was a class in the game that matched my personality it’d be fury. Should I main it? Off spec of prot is nice…

I like Fury for Warrior as well, but it just doesn’t feel strong enough right now.

On the flip side, Enhance is also a tad weak, but in a better place than Fury. HOWEVER, the rotation on Enhance is still not very good, especially compared to Fury, in my opinion.

I can tell you this, Enhance performs marginally better than Fury in raids and much better in dungeons.

I have to say I’m a bit surprised! Mainly from reading the forums… why do I do that? Both specs are a lot of fun. I definitely prefer melee over ranged. Recently tried to level a mage and man… what a struggle.

Mage isn’t hard if you level with Frost and know how to kite.

Mage was my original main and I’ve played Frost since the beginning. It’s actually really easy to play.

I should’ve clarified. The struggle was how boring it was… don’t get me wrong. I want to mage. Bad. But pushing my 2 key (frost bolt) isn’t exciting.

Yes, you should. You enjoy it and it is capable of clearing all the content. The rotation is fluid and really fun, and right now their bis lego for aoe is extremely fun. It’s fast and furious and despite the carpal tunnel I enjoy the heck out of it.

The only reason not to would be if you are planning on mythic raiding or pushing the absolute highest of keys, but if that were the case you wouldn’t be picking enhancement either.

Play for fun and you always win!

Just play what funner for you, get good at it and you will go far in your wow career.

Performance wise, who knows how 9.1 balance will turn out between the specs

Both are viable for mythic/keys atm.

Yes, my point was at the level it matters there are picks that are better than BOTH.

Appreciate all the replies. I’m back on my fury warrior and loving it. So much fun. Going to stick with him…

I have both - enhance main myself so I’m a bit bias but fury is very fun imo. My first pick is always my shaman, then my warrior, but both are fun to play

Imo play both and focus more on which one you like most after you get your legendaries/covenant gear, its a good place to start

Play the most fun for you. Tbh, I am switching to fury because it is super fun and blizzard gives warriors a lot more attention than enhancement shaman.

Fury pulls much more consistent AoE damage and doesn’t lose as much ST when getting hit with mechanics in raid fights. Also the mogs!! Lol
