So in terms of healing Enhance gets the bad end of the stick.
I dont understand why WOG doesnt OOM Ret paladins even though they have more Defensives than Enhance.
I dont understand why REGROWTH doesnt OOM Feral and why Enrage regenerations hasnt got some kind of mana costs, they have more healing and defensives than Enhance again.
So WHY does enhance keep getting nerfed when we can hardly keep ourselves alive and have comparatively less defensives than our other Hybrid counterparts.
For heavens sake even Shadow Priests can mend spam longer than an enhancement shaman, and more defensives!!!

Enh got significant mana cost reductions for 9.2.
I think this season will feel much less punishing to be oom and happen less frequently
Surely but Rets and Ferals should require some kind of mana for their heals too
enhance healing is incredible, while enhancement doesn’t dampen nearly as well as ret or feral and turbo isn’t half as good as kitty or ret/war into most meta comps rn i wouldn’t at all say enhance healing is bad
wogs resource cost is actually more relevant than enhancements
while ret obviously has significantly better defensive tools it’s not really fair to compare wog to healing surge in the current game
stormstrike being both our builder and the majority of our ‘spender’ in our overall breakdown isn’t really a bad trade for being capped on our healing
though next season it’ll take about 12 seconds to recoup 20% mana compared to 30 seconds this season (while using dps abilities) so it’ll feel less limited
though that’ll prob be WAY too strong if the game pacing plays at all similarly
yeah i don’t think a spriest smending 4x is going to equal 1 of my healing surges so this is kinda fried
obviously necro spriest defensive kit is insane but i dont get why you’re comparing quantity to quality

Melee hybrids potent instant heals while casters have more frequent casted heals which is the trade-off.
When I vs enh their off healing always seems great and I’m sure the slight nerf will be offset by the mana and conduit upgrade.
Shadow will be running Measured Contemplation now though so expect to see some lay on hands shiz coming from them 
You could be playing ele and go oom after 4 heals and be getting no mana reduction in 9.2
Oh, and we also dont get instant heals like you either

The nerf comes out to about 1.2% less healing with 5 stacks of maelstrom and 2.6% with 4 stacks. You have to remember the buffs to the maelstrom conduit and the nerf was likely related to that buff so we don’t heal for crazy amounts.
on ptr i was healing for 30-40k instant healing surges with the nerf.
It’s definitely gonna be fine.
I mean sure, it gets the bad end of the stick when you’re talking about mana throughput.
But Enhance doesn’t use its big damage stuff to use those heals, compared to ret. Those procs are meant to heal, in very rare instances do you want to instacast LB or CLB.
Ferals are a weird spec to balance because of how forms work. Be grateful they don’t have instant clones anymore if you really think frenzied + regrowth instas are a big problem. They are just a variable in the kit being very powerful.
Enhance has a problem in the game where it’s extremely oppressive if it’s good. And imagine if Enhance, right now, was as strong as it was in past expacs. Rdruid turbo would run the ladder since it would be impossible to lose to rmx/jungle without massive mistakes.
