Now given that, in a ST situation, what’s my priority?
- Storm/Windstrike
- Instant LB from Maelstrom stacks
- Buffed Frost Shocks from Hailstorm
With the Leggo, hero, and Stormbringer procs. I’ve got more storm/wind strikes than I know what to do with a lot of the time. But I just spam that? Do I focus on using maelstrom stacks to get out my frost shocks?
Currently I’ve just been leaning towards spamming Stormstrike, throwing out an LB between procs if I’m given a free GCD to do so. Hardly ever do I get the chance even make it to using the buffed frost shocks.
Just curious if my head is in the right place.
During doom winds + ascendance, wind strike takes priority over everything.
You SHOULD be able to get a rhythm where you can weave one ability between each wind strike, on which you follow the priority. If you get a stormbringer reset, just hit wind strike again and wait for the next gap.
All that changes is crash lightning moves up to just under wind strike, as it procs Doom Winds.

Wind Strike - crash lightning - wind strike - lbx8 x wind strike - hailstorm frost shock - wind strike - lava lash - wind strike

Maelstrom builds faster during this stage than I can give away…lightning bolt vs buffed frost shock ?
