It’s ok to be a mascot, You’'ll even be a desired one once you have windfury totem.
We really are nothing but a mascot as damage spec.
Isn’t this more appropriate to be a Warrior leveling experience? I don’t struggle as much as I did playing Enhancement Shaman in Season of Discovery.
Also I’m not sure how you could possibly be OOMing as enhance at this level…? Shamanistic Rage is a 1min CD full mana bar with double rockbiter, and Lava Lash costs nothing.
Do you also not have DW rune to help your hit rate? If you’re seeing parries you need to be behind the mob.
As others have said, Dual Wield rune (the actual rune, not just unlocking the ability to equip a second weapon) and Shamanistic Rage will fix the experience you’re having.
If you’re still OOMing with Sham Rage and 2x Rockbiter up, you’re pressing Earth Shock too much. Yes, ES is “highest” dps but if you’re having mana issues, you need to either press Frost Shock as your mana is getting low based on how long until you can sham rage again, or weave in Flame Shock > ES or Frost > Flame > ES or Frost ect.
In my personal experience if Im just keeping searing totem & strength down while weaving flame shock and earth or frost shock, my sham rage almost perfectly lines up with me being OOM. That said, I do have a couple INT pieces on still so its definitely tighter with full STR/AGI gear. At the very least, Lava Lash is basically free lol so just press that and auto while oom
