Enh Shaman, Blood DK, and Resto Druid (one player, all roles) looking for strong M+ community for S2

Hail. I’m looking for a guild with a bunch of gamers that farm M+ dungeons and are good at the video game without being obnoxious weirdos about it.

I’m just returning to the game (been back for just under 2 weeks) and I play just about everything and am liable to swap toons depending on the buffs and nerfs for S2, but for the end of this season and start of S2 my plan is to run keys on an Enh Shaman, Blood DK, and Resto Druid.

I am looking for people that play at a high level, are on regularly, are fun to game with, but don’t have rigid set groups that will make it hard to find people to run real keys. I generally end up quitting due to frustration with pugs so I’m trying to resolve that and have a good time in S2.

It would be awesome if the community happened to be some other 30+ people, but I am not expecting to find that specifically. I’m 36, a dad with a wife and 2 kids, a veteran, and I am just looking for like-minded people to get stuff done. I will be raiding as well in some capacity but I don’t like to schedule nights for gaming in case I end up doing family stuff instead. I do play a lot though and would make a great backup raider that will have 3 heroic raid ready toons that I can bring occasionally if somebody in your raid force doesn’t show up!

Knights of the Alliance is recruiting all people, all specs, all roles, for our raiding, Mythic+, and PvP teams. We are always looking for like minded individuals to join our guild, whether it be for raiding, M+, or just to find a group of individual to hang out with that are like-minded. If you don’t see the day/times that you want to raid on here, hit me up! We work to help raid teams create themselves in our guild. You would have me recruiting for you, leaving you to do what you really want to do, which is lead a raid.

KotA has been around since the early days of Vanilla WoW and we have raiding in every tier since that time, attempting or beating every raid as it was current content. Every so often, as with anyone with a life, we have backed off raiding due to real life events or because an expansion sucked (looking at you BFA). We have consistently been a top ten guild on the server with this last expansion hitting a top five each raid tier. However, as always, our goal has never been to reach these heights, they are just obtainable with the right group of individuals around us. As such, here are the rules for KotA members -

1. We were all prior military. As such, we tend to act like it. We bark orders and we expect things to be done when we say it. But that also includes all the fun stuff. If you were ever in the military, you know exactly what I’m talking about. However, with 4 raid groups, every group is different with different vibes. I highly recommend speaking with the raid leader of that group to understand exactly what the vibes are for that group.
2. We swear. A lot. Actually, an obscene amount. If that hurts your psyche, then we aren’t the guild for you.
3. We are also a family guild. My dad, my mom, my three older brothers, my two little brothers, and my sister all play WoW and are all in this guild. Once upon a time, we also boasted about having my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin all in guild as well. Those familiar relationships tend to grow towards people who join our guild, but especially with those who have been in the military.
4. Because 1 and 3, we also tend to give everyone around us a lot crap. We will trash talk you if you screw up a pull. We give you crap if you fall on the elevator boss. Expect to have a lot of fun while in guild but expect that fun to come at your expense.
5. We are a family. As such, we help each other out. We farm materials if you need to level your professions, we help you out if you are trying to get a specific item, we bring cauldrons, feasts, potions etc. From the moment you join, expect us to treat you as your family would treat you.
6. Which brings me to our final rule - If you sign up for something, we expect you to be there. We understand things come up and we know that real life is far more important that WoW, but we just ask that you give us a heads up if something is happening and you’re gonna be late or won’t be able to show up. We aren’t heartless, you know.

If you’ve made it through the rules for harmonious living in KotA, then you might have a place with us.

We are going to be raiding heroic raids, then switching over to Mythic every raid tier. We currently have five different raids running. Our raid times are Tuesday 4-7PST/7-10EST, Tuesday/Wednesday 5-8 PST/8-11EST, Tuesday/Thursday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Wednesday/Friday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Saturday 5-8 PST/8-11EST. For M+, our guild focuses on getting our guild members through KSM, and then pushing to see how high we can go. We have a guild M+ night on Thursdays (lower- to mid-level keys) and Monday nights (8+ keys).

DDT – Tuesday - 3/8M, 8/8H, looking for a resto shaman and warlock. This raid is a 1-night raid that focuses on AotC then heads into mythic to clear as much as possible
TGM – T/W -4/8M, 8/8H not currently looking for anyone specific. They ended 6/8M last expansions last tier and pushed into mythic every tier beforehand.
MT6 – W/F - 4/8M, 8/8H, looking for boomkin and WW monk, but all DPS should apply. This raid is our newest raid and is focused on AotC then getting into mythic ASAP
Unyielding – T/Th, 8/8H, going to be heading into mythic in S2, looking for Blood DK or Prot warrior, Pres Evoker, Resto Shaman, and a priest of any type. This is a new raid in guild but the core of the raid came over from a guild merger or were excellent players already within guild.
Vibes – S - 8/8H, 8/8N, this raid is for people who can’t commit to a specific time, who like to raid drunk, and alts. This raid always needs everyone lol

Our guild boasts the best healing core on the server and many of our DPS are top ten for their class/spec. So, if bullet points up above sounds good to you, hit me up. We always invite the person, not the class or spec.

Yeah man that sounds awesome on paper. I’ll definitely reach out when I’m not at work and maybe we could hop in Discord and shoot the breeze a bit and see if it would be a good fit. I really like the way a lot of that sounds, ESPECIALLY the prior military stuff and the punctuality aspect. If somebody tells me they’re going to be on at a certain time and they’re not it definitely is very frustrating. After all, if you’re not 15 minutes early then you’re late!

I DO want to give a disclaimer here. I was in the Air Force so if you guys were Army/Marines and I use a word that’s more than a syllable or two just remind me to explain what it means. (I love a good Air Force joke too btw and usually tell people “I almost joined the military. I was in the Air Force.”)

• Focus: Semi-hardcore raiding with a laid-back atmosphere. Progression is important, but we don’t mind having some fun while doing it.

• Open Roles: All roles considered. If you’re looking for a balanced, relaxed yet focused raid group, this is the place! (Group has limited availability)
