So even with every anti-root tool available, you have a lot of classes with just straight up nearly permanent roots. With all the tools (talents, etc) I have available, I still am sitting roots nonstop and it eats my dps up completely. I can’t do anything if I am fully rooted the entire game.
I know Enh isn’t doing well in PVP. In general it just can’t approach anything and a lot of teams win due to mobility. You just sit there in a fully unending root most of the game. I have no idea why they buffed roots recently. They are also just far more common, I think.
I’m not sure how else to approach enemy teams if I am rooted/slowed by such high amounts. Slows also make my dps drop dramatically as Mages for example just aren’t going to be able to be caught. Any ideas?
Enh need mobility? From what I see all they do is 150-170k lightning bolts from across the arena…. Makes me wonder why ele even exists if enhancement can do that.

I’m pretty sure OP is talking about enh rooting him. In that case, you’re probably right. It’s really easy to shut people down sometimes when I static them behind pillars and root them so they can’t get dispelled.
Still, enh lacks in so many areas that this strength doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things.
With health pools over a million this is not nearly as threatening as you’re making it out to be.
Yah but about 700k worth happen within a blink of an eye.
Side note OP is a DK, we don’t want to hear any whining from that… double grip, abomb limb, chains of ice spam, 3 kicks… ams, icebound / wraith walk all while pressing death coil the entire time from range. What you need to get out of roots for anyway.
Idk, the “root buff” thing is super wild to me because i swear its makes them last MAYBE 0.3s longer in every practical situation.
Maybe. My experience with enhance is theres a lot of barking and all the sudden a wind god is clonking me in the head with its maces and it hurts.
Yeah, that’s our damage outside of ascendance and only with 10 stacks of maelstrom. That’s going to do about 2% of their hp once you factor in the healer.
Brother, if you’re playing Ascend currently you’re doing it wrong. I do agree though, spirit walk being a rootbreak and not a freedom is super annoying when you just get reslowed or rooted its like “k” enh has dog water mobility and defensives and we die if you just stare hard enough.
