How does enhance feel in high tier delves to you guys? To me it feels like doggy-doo. I have an alt prot war and I’m just cheesing delves with no problem that are technically way too high ilvl for me, but whenever it’s my enh shammy, I’m getting squished by anything more than 3 mobs. Looking for red bottles sucks.

I’ve done it on both ele and Enh on 11’s. Think my enh is 643 or something around there and my ele is 634(due to 619 for 2pc). Enh kills faster but it’s almost always sketchy, it’s really hard to not AOE and get aggro on everything. Depending on the mobs, 2 is sometimes too much. On ele I can single target much easier and let Brann tank for a bit while I blow 1 mob up. Ele has more tools to keep things from going south but once they do you’re toast, where enh has less tools to keep things from going south but is more survivable if they do. The ele primal earth elemental lasts way longer so 3-4 mobs don’t blow it up instantly and ele ascendance is a massive aoe nuke where enh is not nearly as impactful. I actually had some deaths today due to doing my ele runs first and then doing my enh and thinking “Oh I’ll just pop ascendance and wipe everything out quick” to find that it was not in fact wiped out and now I’m trying to kite lol. Ele does take a bit longer to get through the run though.
Overall I’d probably say enh is a 6.5/10 and ele is 6/10. It’s not awful but it’s not a walk in the park. Some pulls just can’t be done without cooldowns so there can be lots of waiting on them to clear certain packs.

Yeah, tank specs just rock in delves. My Brewmaster Monk has been doing 11s no problem. Even last season I was able to clear 11s sub 600, can’t remember the exact gear value, I was upgrading nearly every slot from the leveling gear, as I cleared each tier and just kept going, and even than it felt smooth.
Enhancement… Right now, I don’t feel comfortable advancing beyond 8s on my Enhancement shaman. She might hit hard and can selfheal really well, but she also can’t take hits for anything. Occasionally I get dropped just because the white damage hits happened too fast either because I wasn’t generating enough stacks, or I just wasn’t critting often enough on my heals.
I can dance around Delve bosses all day long on either of my toons but where my BrM just laughs and plows through the mobs my Enh gets nervous when more than a few mobs are on her. My Enh also has be a bit more careful with some bosses do to how hard some of their abilities hit, but the fights are a lot quicker with her so it’s a tradeoff.

I have solo a 10, and I have done 11’s. Honestly this entire Season seems to be tough on melee. I can easily do Delves and M+ and even the raids on my Hunter (now MM) than I can on my Shaman. You truly need to pay more attention as melee in all content.
