Do throwing bombs disrupt auto-attacks? Like reset your swing timer? And if the answer is NO aka they are a dps increase, is it true of all engineering bombs or a select few? Thank you.
all bombs disrupt your autoattack timer, iirc, except for goblin sapper charge, which is instant
regardless, other bombs would be a dps increase in AoE situations if goblin sapper charges didn’t exist

The majority of times a bomb will be a DPS increase in AoE situations.
Think about it this way, your Whirlwind is capped at 4 targets. The bombs are not. If you use them similar to how you’d use slam after an auto attack for minimal disruption you’ll do pretty well!
Not going to crunch the numbers for you since I’m not willing to spend the cash on bombs like that but I think the sweet spot will be 4+ targets for higher level bombs.
