Engineering Turbo Charged flying machine doesn't use helicopter part with skyriding

It works fine with steady flight, but switching the skyriding, the helicopter part doesn’t deploy while flying. It’s one of my favorite mounts over the years and one I still use regularly. Not sure this is an oversight or intended behavior.
