Engineering training

I remade my warrior as a mechagnome, but when I went to learn engineering again, I can only find Shadowlands and Cataclysm trainers. I was hoping to find a Classic engineering trainer, but when I search for “Classic Engineering trainers”, all I find are articles on leveling engineering in WoW Classic. Can anyone help me with finding an Engineering trainer who trains in Classic engineering? lol what a mess

Classic and Cata share a trainer since Cata happens in Azeroth

Just visit any major city in Azeroth and you should be able to learn classic recipes

I believe Stormwind trains you in both Classic and Cata. After that you have to go to the capital of whatever xpac it is to learn if I’m not mistaken.

OK, I’m standing at the Engineering trainer in the Dwarven district in Stormwind, I’ll look again but so far all I saw was Cata. Thank you!

Cata Engineer trainer is the same as Old world / vanilla trainer, should been a group of “skills” labeled something from the past.

Should be Stormwind and Orgrimmar for both, and other capitals maybe just Cata iirc.

If you have already learned everything you can for your engineering level, Cata will appear first. If you scroll far enough, you’ll see the Classic stuff.

Thank you!

Did you go to Shadowlands trainer first? He teaches you Engineering first.

And when you accept, he gives you two recipes, and then he offers Shadowlands Engineering.

If this was your case, you already have Engineering, and the Trainer in Stormwind will only show Cataclysm Engineering, because it’s what is available to you at the moment.

You can use the filter to see Unavailable designs to see what can you learn and when:

As other have said, Cataclysm and Classic are taught by the same trainer in Stormwind, so some scrolling will be needed.

i just trained to 75 in padora to get the recipe for the mounts there went to train still wont let me train antone know why
