Engineering Tinker Stealth nerf or bug?

Northrend Engineering: Nitro Boosts & Northrend Engineering: Flexweave Underlay are no longer able to be added to dragonflight gear post patch. I literally added these to the same items I’m wearing pre-patch, but now get a message that my gear is too high level.

Is this a bug or a stealth nerf?

Edit, I crafted some basic item level gear around 350 and was able to add those tinkers to that item level. Now I’m wondering if there’s a hidden item level cap or if I’m missing something?

Dunno, I haven’t used flexweave in years. Not since the glider came out, anyway.

Glider is superior, but the flexweave underlay can still be used in dungeons unlike the glider.
