The target dummies created by engineers are supposed to drop random materials when they die or expire, but right now in Classic they either have no loot or are unlootable. This is a major problem for engineers because this is the primary means of getting fused wiring, a very important component for most of our signature items.
Can anyone confirm if the advanced dummies are also broken? Or the compact harvest reapers?

Used 10 of them and none of them dropped any loot, not even junk.

I feel especially bad for Horde engineers, this bug gates dragonling and jumper cables behind gnomer
I confirm this as well, my target dummies are unlootable. Concerned on how I’ll get Fused Wiring, Gnomer I guess?
The way I remember it, late Vanilla there was a schematic added to a vendor in Winterspring for Fused Wiring.
Can confirm, target dummy corpses are not lootable and should be.
yea should be hopefully soon they will be struggling to get some fused wiring
Confirmed also. Additionally, my Reaper Kits were unlootable upon death as well. Wasted a lot of mats in hope of getting a fused wiring. 
Same issue here; wasted three target dummies trying to get some fused wiring - one while in a group, one that was allowed to expire on its own, and one that was killed by NPCs while non-grouped, and none were lootable. I’d really love some official answer as to if this is intended or not.
I have used 10 advanced dummies, and none were ever lootable after expiring or dying.
i made a few advanced and used a few while out questing to prevent dying and no loot but when i dropped them in brd they dropped loot after dying tried 3 of them none gave fused yet though
I went through gnomer a few times, not fused wiring. I made 5 advanced target dummies and 1 harvest reaper and no loots from any of them I’m so confused on how I’m supposed to get this fused wiring. I’m not an old player so I don’t know these things. What’s goin on?
it’s bugged. the dummies should be dropping loot and aren’t. Gnomer is only a small chance off a few mobs to get it. It’s making getting the things that require it a huge pain.

Maybe fixed? I had a compact harvest reaper time out and die, in a dungeon instance, and it dropped stuff. Still not sure on the target dummies.
I dropped a target dummy in a dungeon, and it left loot after it expired. Maybe it only works in dungeons right now.
Confirmed that dropping in an instanced dungeon works. Dropped 2 and both lootable. Then dropped one outside and nothing. Not much of a solution but if you’re 30 or above at least you can zone into WC and drop them.
Didnt get fused wiring but I got other parts so hopefully they will drop one if you are lucky enough. Still its bugged as they should drop items outside of instances.
I dropped about 100 of them in RFC. I got 6 fused wiring. Far short of the about 1 in 7 drop rate in vanilla.
