How do you get the recipes or plans for professions ? I know there the hastely scrawled notes but they never drop anything good and u only get 1 to open every 2 days .Kind of lost
That’s how you do it.
Have you been doing “Scour through Scrap” and “Invent”? Those give the Hastily Scrawled Notes that you mentioned.
Edit: Scour through Scrap even gave me prototypes until I apparently learned all the designs I could from them.

Quite a few recipes are locked behind certain specializations - if you have the Comprehensively Organized Ideas but can’t actually use them/get anything, you need to spend KP points in certain areas to unlock “finding” those recipes.

Invent yes i do everyday , was told to avoid doing Scour through scrap ,but ill try it tonite thanks guys great advices
You can get oodles of scrap from old mats. Don’t have to use TWW. Just buy whatever is cheapest - literally anything, and scrap away. You’ll get plenty of scrap, can scour and get items/notes easily. Invent for the last few points when you get to almost 100.
Well I gave it a go tonight I bought a lot of stuff 1000 golds to scour ,got many shematics but no professions plans , nothing , niet and i have 10 points in profession gear .Bad luck i guess
You can get a ton of scrap and just keep prospecting through it. I bought whatever was the cheapest reagent on AH (in my case, it was bolts from DF), and prospected about 3K of those, got all the recipes and still have notes left for when I have the specs opened up that need them.
