Engineering - Make prototypes still discoverable after learning all

Please consider prototypes to continue to be discoverable even after all inventions are learned. Those who discovered all prototypes are no longer able to benefit from the discovery of prototypes which when disassemble into scraps, seem to average 10+ scraps (When fully upgraded with knowledge).

I learned through wowhead that if you save one invention to not learn, you can continue to discover prototypes which allows you to benefit from banking prototypes for scraps. Unfortunately I learned my last invention while leveling engineering and saw this after the fact.

Pretty sure you get random materials, tinkers, safety components, and toys when scouring through scrap once you know all inventions

All I ever get is worthless Hastily Scrawled Notes from Invent or Scour Through Scrap. Blizzard please fix this. After you learn all the patterns, we still need the items that we were getting before - except the notes. The notes cannot even be sold. Do we save them in hopes that a future release will have more patterns or trash them?

I haven’t gotten notes from scrap since raid opened and s1 began

I would be fine too if i could just scrap my nots for more parts that would be cool.

I just noticed this now, and was a little disappointed not to get any output from the “Invent” process other than notes…

Once everything is learned, invent becomes engineering’s big profession stats buff. I always make sure it is up whenever I craft something engy.
