Hey I was under the impression it didn’t matter which specialization I chose since you would be able to guy the other patterns from a quest vendor. I chose Gnomish for the Battle Chicken so I wouldn’t have to do the quest.
Now I want to learned Goblin Jumper Cables XL but they are locked behind Goblin Engineering - Can this be changed please? So All Engineers can use it
you can buy it and use it you just cant craft it. Jumper cables arent even Boe they are always tradable.
If you web search ‘goblin gnomish engineering sod’ you’ll find some guides on how to learn recipes from the specialization that you didn’t pick. It’s a series of quests that culminates in getting a voucher to learn a schematic from the opposite specialization. I haven’t done it more than once, but the guides say that the voucher is available once a week from when you finish the quest.
Buy it from AH or gather the mats and have someone craft it for you. You can use it with enough engineering skill.
Im sure you could find someone in trade chat to do it for a small tip.
