It has a ton of perks, but it is also very unrewarding. You can craft a mount this expansion that costs over 5 million gold not to mention you need a ton of mats to farm the screws. Where is the benefit? Last expasion we had devices like S.A.V.I.O.R that would blow up the raid when they got rezzed (Hilarious effect even when you tell people not to accept it right away). This expansion takes a ton of mats to even make the most basic parts.
For some reason, my guildies like the D.OG.G.O. rez from the Irresistible Red Button. I can’t imagine why. They were SOOO scared the first time XD
Engy had awsome tinkers last expansion. Cant imagine the kick Id have being on a mage and pulling a brez on that foolish healer that just died completing his cast.
Not so much this time, swing and a miss as they say.
I feel it has been like this since battle for Azeroth. You spend more time grinding for stuff then using the actual profession gear. The mount this expansion is the biggest misfire. Feels almost unobtainable and no one is really asking for it unless someone has a pocket engineer or they are crafting it for themselves.
Anyone can use the brez. Now I wonder why I switched professions.
I wish the Comprehensibly Organized Ideas could be sold or give skill points or something once you’ve learned all the things. I still make notes for the skill points then just have a stack of… essentially nothing.
You can send them to alts.
Why would I force 2 characters to do that profession?
When in doubt, make an engy. That is my philosophy when comes the time to choose a new toons’s profs. I like the gadgets. To each there own.
