I really want to know why blizz decided to make THREE outdoor rez items. M3ddy, the travel sized version, and curious red button are items that all rez either the player or the player and their RAID.

Yo, what is up with that? Can we gert ONE item we can use to rez a raid that is current so I’m not forced to go play TWW for mats?
This is pathetic. No wonder no one plays engineering or rogue. You’ve completely shet the bed.
Engineering is a bit of a mess atm, it’s production items in it’s ranged weapon enchants and it’s ammo equivalent to weapon oils/sharpen stones are not used at all. That’s criminal to begin with as it provides no gold making options for engineers in the market.
Realistically ranged weapons need to be omitted from traditional weapon enchants/oils and engineering should be the provider of these augments. Yes this cuts into the enchanter’s market a little but why even have these augments at all for engineers to craft in the first place if they’re not meant to be the go to choices for guns/bows/crossbows?
It’s embellishments are also criminally bad. For a really cool niche of having an item allocated to a single stat you have no way of actually fitting these into a gearset as they’re either at a disadvantage of being 1 track below max and any embellishments applied to them aren’t competitive. DF had it the best where we were able to slot them with tinkers that didn’t count to an embellishment but still provided some utility.
I know I would be keen to make a bres pair of bracers or boots for keys later in the season when crests were free to be used for them.
I keep engineering strictly for 2 reasons.
You already know the two. And both are over a decade old.
But yeah they should improve the current expansion combat rez
Wormhole generators aside, its kind of embarrassing most of us run this profession for +15 year old perks. The tinkering gems keep getting worse every xpac and now everyone can wear the crafted items even without even taking engineering, lol
I just wish the goggles were still interesting. The “utility” options on them have been useless for a few expansions
There are ways to make gold with engineering, it’s just not as plentiful as the last two expansions.
