Engineering Doesn't Feel Good

Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting and Leatherworking feel good for making gear and mogs. Alchemy feels good for making consumables.

But Engineering? That just doesn’t feel good for anything at all. As a completionist, I want to grab more recipes for my engineer, but it just feels unrewarding.

If all engineering had was Loot-A-Rang, that would still be enough for me.

Wormhole generator and battle rez feel really nice to have on my shaman.

i wish the grenades didn’t have a long cast time to use for somethin with small dmg.

I love engineering. It’s my favorite profession. The glider, waterjets, thermal anvil, repair bots, wormholes all the little gadgets and gizmos that still work in current. I didn’t get much of a gas out of this expansion’s bits and bobs, but I still enjoy engineering a lot.

I feel it lacks the potential of making tons of gold like the other professions but I guess that has to tie into the fact it’s turned into more of a convenience prof aye? Only way I make gold with mine is either A. Crafting Gliders or B. Selling Sky Golems every 30days.

Engineering is alright.

I have inscription on one character that I bother with because THAT profession feels useless and it doesn’t feel good.

My only use for Inscription is for the Avatar of Bloodshed pet… it’s the best pet for anything out in open world. It says its level 50 but still scales with your level and deals a crap ton of damage.

Engineering is fine it’s not meant for making gold like legendary crafting

It’s meant for you and using fun gadgets

There is nothing to fix, its a waste of time to even rant about it tbh

I’ve had the opposite. Vantas runes , missives and glyphs churn nicely, and there’s a demand for old contracts too.

Tons of goggles for transmog, a few guns, Auto Hammers, Jeeves, the new Shadowlands teleporter…

Engineering has plenty of stuff.

And how many of those tmogs aren’t BoP or don’t require Engineering to use them?

At this point I have engineering for Wormholes and things like the portable Stable (And Jeeves, and Reaves)
