I was doing sparks on my Dracthyr and this butthurt Brewmaster monk and his 2 other tank friends kept somehow booping me off the sparks farm area and making me die when I touch water like I have a water walking buff??? None of my party members were a dk or a shaman.

Did you use Hover? Hover gives you a sort of water walking effect when used, so if you had this active while falling then you were going to hit the water like you do ground.
