Enemy nameplates not showing up unless being targeted

I totally deleted wow, installed it on a different drive, no addons, still nameplates are not working.

Did you try manually typing in the command?

Finally, got them working, copy/paste the command, then installed threat plates, and went into threat plate options and checked the box that says always show nameplates.

Any idea what fixed it?

I copied the command:

/run SetCVar(“nameplatePlayerMaxDistance”, 60)

I pasted it into notepad, copied it again, pasted it into the wow chat, deleted the final “)” and typed it manually… Then I pressed enter and it worked!

It’s the quotes that are getting screwed up when copied and pasted. Typed it in manually and all is well again.
