Enemy health bars on nameplates not being displayed

Hello!

I’m seeing a very odd issue where even if I am showing nameplates the health bar doesn’t appear. I only see the name and level and the area where the health bar should be is blank.

It happens for both friendly and enemy nameplates.

I’ve first tried the “scan & repair” but that didn’t work so I did a full re-install of the classic client. The screenshot above was taken right after logging in, no addons installed.

Is it possible that some of the files shared between retail and classic cause this? Thanks

EDIT: This fixed it, leaving in case someone else has the same problem

  1. In-game: /console cvar_default
  2. Close the game completely
  3. Delete Interface and WTF folders
  4. Relaunch the game
