Enemy Defence Capabilities

Greetings travellers,

I’d like to discuss enemy mob defensive tactics because I feel like I’m losing my mind here.

I’m playing a pesky Rogue, and when I sneak up behind a mob to ambush them straight out of Stealth, they somehow dodge the attack. How can they possibly dodge an ambush when they can’t even see me coming??

Then, immediately after, they turn around to face me. I hit them with a Sinister Strike, and the combat log says [BLOCKED]… even though the mob doesn’t even have a shield equipped! How can this be??

Is this a bug, or are mob defense tables just totally broken? Anyone else experiencing this?

I have not experienced this myself but I think that is more because I am not playing a rogue on beta.

nope that’s normal. sometimes you just get unlucky

No it’s how it worked unfortunately. Its just way worse for rogue since stealth is garbage and a Dodge/parry on your opener on top of that feels extra punishing
