Enemies randomly walking around in combat

I tend to typically do content as Guardian, and I’ve noticed enemies have started randomly walking around when I’ve been fighting them, while I’m standing perfectly in the same spot and not moving. Some so bad they even end behind me if I don’t keep turning to look at them. Happened even in a Timewalking Nexus run so I wouldn’t think this is a new mob thing. Have I just not noticed this before? I haven’t been able to find any info regarding the issue.

This has been happening to my Guardian druid since Legion. Mobs of a certain size – large but not huge – will strafe/circle as if trying to face my druid. It’s infuriating for melee DPSers, especially rogues who need to backstab, because they have to constantly circle around.

I reported it, but crickets.

Thank you. Glad it’s not just something on my end, but sorry that you’ve had the issue as well. I had tried on my own to figure it out after posting and I did notice the larger enemies would start doing it quicker and more frequently, and also either Wild Charging or Head Bashing seemed to confuse mobs and make it happen. I have also reported it in game. Hope it will get noticed and fixed eventually.

This is happening to me when I tank things as a prot warrior, so it isn’t something happening to Guardian druids exclusively

I noticed it when I was doing Halls of Lightning Timewalking with the two golem trash mobs after the 3rd boss.

This happens to me all the time. Incredibly annoying.

This just happened to my druid when doing the WQ to kill the Jungleweb Hunter in Vol’dun, outside Totraka Refuge.

One thing I noticed: The Jungleweb Hunter didn’t move at first. It only started circling me after it webbed me in place. I didn’t move. The webbing faded, and it started moving as if it thought I moved first.

You definitely aren’t alone. I was just talking about this in Discord. It’s getting really annoying, too. :frowning:
