Endless Classic or a Prestige mode?

Is the intent of classic leaving it up indefinitely so everyone eventually goes through naxx or will there be a timeline expiration for when bc launched? If theres an expiration, should there be some sort of prestige added to the account, like a title of some sort or should it just stay up forever until people get bored of it?

It means rather than attack your position, he is just attacking you personally, and for some reason the mods don’t care at all. Which is why the forums are such garbage.

If hes talking about posts between characters, I have around 8 to post with so I dont really get his point.

The plan is to leave Classic up as long as WOW is up for people to enjoy the classic experience. If classic is successful I imagine they will eventually try other expansions but that’s just speculation at the moment.

The Classic forum was low-traffic for so long that a lot of the time, any new posters with 0 prior forum posts were trolls/other people’s alts. So the regulars got very jaded and suspicious of newcomers, which is on the one hand understandable but on the other kind of kind of a bad look.

Now that it’s getting very close to launch and we’re getting a ton of genuine new people coming in asking genuine questions (even if those questions could be answered by doing a close scan of the recent threads; your own question is one of the most commonly asked), the old regulars are really going to need to check their paranoia IMO.

Regardless, would the prestige hit your BFA account or would it be a classic title? Really don’t care if it’s BFA bound and you get some title on there. I’d rather keep it out of classic

Classic needs to stay Classic. If Blizzard decides to do BC servers, they need to be separate from Classic. Same with fresh servers, they are fine as long as the old servers are left alone.

Seems like there would never be a consensus on this and it just ends up fragmenting the player base even further

Well TBC is the most superior xpac or so my goggles say. That being said I’m content to play Classic endlessly.
