What in the Celebrate is this?
Are you saying collapse all 4 raid difficulties into 1? It would probably be heroic with harder end bosses
I only do queued group content, which is basically âsoloâ group content, it takes no hunting through LFG, applying to groups, making groups, joining a PvE content guild, or spending my entire gottdang night on nonsense that I donât want to deal with just to do solo content faster. One, I donât want to see the inside of the same dungeon over and over a million times. Two, my experiences doing maybe like three Mythics ever that I had to do for quests were that the people were awful, the process of getting into a group was hideous, and overall just no. It wasnât a place I wanted to be.
Which isnât to say that Iâm all that hardcore on heroics or LFR. What LFR and heroic dungeons I did, I did only enough times to get what I wanted out of it (mostly quests, pets, transmog, and to see the story)âŠI want to say that Iâve only done LFR Sylvanas four or five times across all of my characters, mostly to unlock the Desmotaeron fast travel point so that I can get to the world boss in the Maw faster, because thereâs not really anything in there that I want or need. Iâve leaned in to LFR more in other patches if there was stuff like the cloak legendary in MOP, and I ended up doing Castle Nathria a ton of times for the anima, soulbond abilities and the sword pet from Denathrius.
If the game were to go back to the days where you could only get into a dungeon or a raid with a group that was manually assembled, I would likely stop doing current content all together. My friends donât play the game to do PvE content, I mostly donât play the game to do PvE content and what I do enjoy of it I like doing at my own pace, on my own terms, on my own schedule.
As a LFR-for-lifer, I find it easier to deal with if I take the time to explain encounters early on in the life cycle of the raid, shifting to an as-needed basis later on. I find that most people will follow instructions if they just know what to do instead of waiting for people to mess up and going ragemode about it at everyone. Everyone complains about how LFR is paradoxically both afk-and-win and a super toxic âwipefestâ because no one knows what theyâre doing, but for the most part in my experience everyone in there is just there to get through it like I am, and the chances of actually doing that are usually better than with a random PUG in Normal or above.
WoW is going to be dead in the next three years. Most players are getting sick of the changes that are being made for a few people. Cross faction is a good example of it. The lowering of the talent tree is another. Bring back tension into the game (itâs been gone). Stop the single expansion crap that youâve been doing. Kill this cross faction junk. Remove all the devs who are on WoW because theyâre not putting out anything. Bring in good writers because the current ones suck monkey balls and havenât put out a good story in years. You might then bring back some of the players who left.
Thatâs not going to happen. Ion has shown for years that he is completely unwilling to do anything about the faction imbalance. I donât like cross-faction, but its better than ignoring a worsening problem.
How would you solve the faction imbalance without cross faction? If your answer is buff alliance radials into being stupidly OP, that just swings the needle in the complete opposite direction. The entire high end playerbase will migrate on mass to alliance, and the horde is left a ghost town.
I donât know, but its not my job. All I know is Ion has chosen to do nothing for years. The answer certainly wasnât to ignore it.
If its âeasierâ content, than you donât need high end gear.
Amazing.
I have the same experience. Itâs like the people complaining about LFR are living in a completely different world. I have been running SoD LFR on multiple characters for several months. Most wings are completed very quickly. Compared to LFR NâZoth last expansion, everything in SoD is EZ PZ.
Usually I queue at the beginning at the week. Though I queued in for Sylvanas once very late on a Monday night and downed her first pull. I have done all three roles in the first six bosses. Only DPS and Heals on the third wing, and DPS only on Sylvanas.
To the topic at hand. Iâll play 9.2 like I have all of SL. At my own pace. As long as I can do what I want comfortably and get into LFR with open world gear, Iâll be fine. Most of my chars are between 210 and ~225 just doing mostly casual/solo stuff. For me the comfort zone kicks in around iLevel 200 or so. Which I can get close to, just by hitting the AH. I get a cheap legendary. 210 or 225, then do the minimal Torghast to get the ash. I either serially queue level 3 or the level that gives you 800. On my Unholy DK I died 5 times one run, but got my 800, so it was good.
Edit - Spelling.
Still people donât see the problem âeasy contentâ isnât easy at all from the start or if a person goes to the next zone and the npcâs are more difficult to down from the other zone they just left .This is the same principle he are going to do in the next patch, higher gear is needed and it is there because it just is logical.
If you think 220-233 ilvl gear from Korthia isnât gonna be enough to do dailies in Zereth Mortis (while youâre gonna be getting new solo content loot there), then its quite frankly⊠a skill issue.
I have no problems with skills as some do but consider a new player entering that zone, they die a lot and I mean a lot.The same applies to Korthia go there anytime and there is a grave yard waiting for you to see. Why is that? New players and alts running through to reach the limit to enter the next patch. Death is not all skill lack it is also an endurance lack.
So your answer is just saturate new players with loot, so they can easily overcome trivial content, rather than them learning how to actually play the game?
No wonder this game is dying.
No, not at all work is work weither it be picking herbs( which is do need in the AH for raiders) or doing repeated content for a goal to have gear enough to survive . Some folk I take canât do these and opt to do mythic dungeons and by pass all of this content in the world it is not a solo fault on that matter ,that is a âyouâ problem of jealousy .
c-c-c-combo breaker!
TIL you need heroic raid ilvl to pick herbs. lmao
So ppl that canât do solo world content, do mythic dungeons?
What?
If you are herbing now in sl you have 210 gear or better which is not heroic it is mythic you lost the argument there. I donât make the rules blizz made.
tf are you even talking about
I donât think they even know at this point.
233 gear was too high so no.
