I want the Elite stuff to stay, and I want it to still require rating to get. But for the love of god can we get some sort of token to farm to get the older sets? Why is only pvp locked here? You can always go back and get mythic mogs but the pvp elites get gated? Its a dumb gate too, just whether you were around or not.
Not even really a mark of pride anymore, they are easy enough to get now you just gotta actually be there and playing the right class for the season. This is stupid.

Same reason they made bad choices in the past, because they are wrong about something or scared of changing it. Dude, pvp is on the lower end of engagement for their player base. It’s not dead, but it is not what keeps most of their subs and pve sets are not gated like this. Your math isn’t mathing.

If they’re easy to get then just get them now? Every single class is r1 viable, 1800 is almost entirely free if you are doing your rotation properly and pressing the queue button especially via blitz.
It’s no different than M+ seasonal rewards, CE/AOTC achievements, it’s a reward for sticking with the game and playing and not just unsubbing and resubbing when you feel like it

You missed the entire point, broither. You cant get the ones that are out of season. I can reach 1800 easy but that doesn’t help someone get the season 1 sets, or DF sets, or anything before they might have missed.
