End Raid Crate Farming

Its not necessary to have full 40 man raids farming pvp crates
Make it impossible to capture and loot the pvp crate in a raid group.

Add a 10 min cooldown to capturing and looting crates

Jesus, where are the brains to keeping things fun and fair. its pathetic.

Plenty of other pvp things to fix other than war crates.

They’re capped at 39. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, it is necessary if you’re Horde since there’s so few of them out there naturally.

I was farming mud piles and a crate drop plane flew by… about 30 people flew into me dismounting me and proceeded to harm me in unimaginable ways lol.

kinda dumb.

Its called war mode! Nothing better than two raids fighting over 40 conquest and a 2k recipe from a box

bro - its 1 raid and us peasants that get caught in the farming storm. if it was 2 raids, that would be a little bit fun and chaotic

I joined a crate raid one weekend after the cap was removed to get my last couple pieces. We actually did run into competing Horde raids. Fun but hard on computers.

Incredible isn’t it?

Yall know what you agreed to when you clicked war mode on. Dont be surprised when you get noticed by the other faction.

This happens more than you think and its actually very fun. Most of the wpvp ive done has been from crate farming raids clashing on boxes.

Thanks nacho party and RDY for making crate farming fun!

Except that almost never actually happens.

Yeah, basically each faction focuses on their 3-4 crates they can get as quickly as possible without a fight.

While it is definitely fun and promotes social gameplay, crate farming undermines other forms of PVP because it is by far the most efficient way to gear.

Could cap crates to only be looted by the first 10-15 people. Or maybe it’s not lootable at all if you are in any party.

Also if you do any WPvP in a raid or party, you are bad.

How about no. The only enjoyable way to gear and still get the occasional fight in is crate farming and it’s the biggest W blizzard has handed to the player base in years for PvP.

Thats world PVP for ya… its WarCraft, not FairCraft lol

It’s really sad if the biggest win for PvP in years is an activity with no PvP involved.

Probably half the people complaining barely do WM and are the same crying about “premades” in epic BGs while also barely playing epic BGs.

But to cry about people grouping to do things for wPvP is probably the worst stance so far.

If you don’t think there’s PvP involved then you haven’t been crate farming at all lmao.

No but I’ve been on the receiving end of it. Every time it’s just a raid flying around getting crates. The only PvP involved is said raid killing the poor people who didn’t realize our shard had a crate raid in it. Technically I suppose that is “PvP combat” in that one player is attacking another, but I wouldn’t consider it actually PvP gameplay.

Yes I’m sure there are times when 2 crate raids of opposite factions form on the same shard, but I can’t imagine one of them sticking around. People are going to leave after they lose a couple crates and join a different group as the purpose of crate farming is for conquest, not PvP.

I just realized we have the same guild name too.

Every time I’ve been crate farming we’ve fought multiple raids for crates so I don’t think you’re aware of what actually goes on.

They don’t actually play the game. Just using the forums as a creative writing exercise.

Tbf I mostly just browse the forums to laugh at all of the people who get worked up about epic bgs/premades etc. ironically it’s the same 5-10 people everytime
